Overview
The New Product Development Analyst is responsible for new product performance analytics and competitive tracking to help influence eCommerce strategy. The Analyst will also be responsible for supporting ideation, vetting, development, execution, and evaluation of new products and offerings within the eCommerce channel as needed.
Responsibilities
Product Development and Evaluation:
- Provide weekly reporting and analyses (including dashboard and reporting tool development) on eCommerce performance to a range of audiences,Analyze internal customer data and leverage eCommerce industry trends to influence product development
- Conduct analysis on new product launches to evaluate success and make recommendations for improvement
Project Implementation Support:
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders from Culinary, Tech, Ops, Finance, Supply Chain and Marketing to drive projects towards implementation and success
- Support communication on project updates and priorities within Home Chef to ensure organizational alignment and execution
- Adhere to product road maps and ensure successful completion of related projects
eCommerce Strategy:
- Conduct regular competitive assessments of product market space to guide eCommerce strategy
- Constantly seek to optimize upcoming or launched products by identifying highest value opportunities and driving improvements to the top and bottom line
- Collaborate with Consumer Insights to conduct research to shape product development
This position requires 0-10% travel.
Qualifications

- Completion of a four-year degree program in a related field
- 1-2 years experience in a fast-paced professional work environment. Retail or CPG experience is a plus.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and/or comparable Google Workspace skills, experience with Looker a plus
- Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and experience working with cross-functional partners and a range of stakeholders
- Strong prioritization and project management skills with a keen ability to manage several projects and responsibilities at once
- Curious and humble learner who is eager to grow, solve a wide range of challenges and own new areas of expertise as our business grows into uncharted territories
Salary Range: $62,000 - $67,000
