Associate Product Manager - Consumer Lending

What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for driving growth and ensuring operational excellence for the Consumer Lending line of business. The incumbent will plan and execute the marketing strategy for Credit Cards, Auto, RV and Personal Loans with both internal teams and third party partners. The Associate Product Manager, Consumer Lending will also demonstrate operational leadership through the effective management of compliance and issue remediation activities. Resources to do the job require building collaborative relationships across the organization and managing multiple, simultaneous projects and deadlines.

- Support attainment of loan and origination goals through effective planning and execution of marketing campaigns
- Formulate promotional and offer strategies that drive usage, engagement and retention
- Collaborate with marketing to enhance public website content
- Review all product-related creative content to ensure that the value proposition is communicated clearly and accurately
- Coordinate the planning and set up of campaigns with credit bureaus and service providers
- Implement pricing changes across channels and with external partners
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement by employing test and control strategies
- Adopt new trigger based marketing strategies to improve relevance and timeliness of communications
- Identify opportunities for new marketing tests, segmentation, promotional and channel strategies
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Consumer Lending product portfolio
- Maintain working knowledge of entire product experience from acquisition, through onboarding and including usage and retention
- Ensure that the promotion and marketing activities adhere to all relevant fair lending laws and regulations
- Monitor product performance and work with the Credit Product Analyst to communicate monthly business results as well as campaign performance to Lending leadership
- Prepare and deliver updates for various committees and board reports
- Lead the Credit Card Committee including its monthly meetings
- Effectively manage third party relationships; ensure adherence to SLAs and delivery of positive member experiences
- Lead compliance and issue remediation activities by collaborating with Compliance and Business Risk to track complaints and draft new procedures
- Translate strategic and operating plans into meaningful direction of projects, goals, priorities and activities; deliver on strategy through quality execution and best practice adaptation
- Manage product roadmaps to ensure that strategic priorities are pursued and implemented
- Maintain up to date Product Management Systems and disclosure libraries
- In collaboration with Lending and Finance, assist in the preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual financial planning
- Identify efficiencies and process improvements and seek to replicate best practices across product lines
Qualifications
What makes you a great fit?
You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required, and you have:
- 5+ years’ experience in product management, consumer lending, marketing campaign management
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly within the consumer lending retail environment, preferred
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, preferred
- Experience in project management with strong, organizational, collaborative and consultative skills
- Experience working with data analysts to find trends and solve problems
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
