Rocket Travel, Inc., a subsidiary of Booking Holdings, is looking for an experienced product designer to join our team and lead the end-to-end digital design process. You should have several years of experience doing product design work at a fast-paced technology company. Here, you’ll be the most senior product designer, working directly with Product Owners, engineers, our head of product and leading our small product design team. A typical day might involve launching a brand new landing page A/B test, prototyping a new mobile feature, designing and building a component library, prioritizing competing feature work and mentorship of other designers.

You will:

• Support the product in all phases of the product life cycle through data analytics
• Provide rigorous insights into user behavior
• Use data to prioritize new features
• Uncover areas of improvement by working closely with product team and a team of data scientists
• Create and maintain product dashboards to track performance and trends of KPIs using Chartio
• Deep-dive into A/B test results and suggest new tests to run, using our home-built testing platform and Google Optimize for frontend experiments
• Collaborate with product owner and development team to determine feasibility and specs of features, inputting those as user stories into JIRA
• Create documentation on findings and work with senior members of the company to finalize decisions

• Customer and people focused, optimizing the product from user insights, customer engagement, and product analytics
• Comfortable with rapidly changing priorities
• Technical, understanding the inherent tradeoffs building technology products, and experienced in working with engineering and other technical team members — including SQL knowledge
