Creative Director 

Cooler Screens was founded on the core idea that consumers deserve a far better experience than what is available today in bricks-and-mortar retail. We call this concept “CX” and it guides all that we do.  We have begun the CX journey by bringing what consumers love about shopping on-line to the frozen and refrigerated food aisle. 

 

Cooler Screens is re-imagining the business of brick-and-mortar retail for retailers and brands.  We are transforming retail cooler surfaces into IoT enabled screens that deliver new marketing opportunities and smart merchandising for the ultimate shopper experience. Cooler Screens is building the world’s first and largest in-store digital media and edge computing platform at the retail point-of-sale.

As Creative Director, you will oversee the design and execution of high-quality creative projects and deliverables for Cooler Screens across all channels from concept to completion.  Leading on all conceptual design development, you will drive the creative process in close partnership with product, marketing and other teams at one of the fastest-growing tech startups in the country.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide visual creative and conceptual direction for our brand, products, and marketing efforts 

  • Develop creative concepts and ideas that drive ad tech products and create increased awareness of Cooler Screens 

  • Continue to evolve the story and creative voice for Cooler Screens 

  • Strike the right balance between creative excellence and speed of delivery 

  • Get into the details when needed, but know when to lead and when to help 

  • Present and articulate a creative point of view to cross-functional teams and external partners  

  • Manage priorities, developing effective processes, and partnering with teams and leaders to drive growth 

 

What You Need to Succeed: 

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a creative leader, ideally in digital media and/or high-impact consumer products 

  • A strong understanding and experience in consumer (CPG) and retail  

  • A results-oriented mindset using data, research, and industry insights to inform decision making and measuring impact when it comes to creative 

  • An impressive portfolio of work across several scales and mediums, especially digital  

  • Able to, and enjoy, shifting between creative and visionary to pragmatic and tactical 

  • Hands-on design and production capabilities — you will be designing and accountable for delivery on projects 
 

  • Expert understanding and executional ability of modern design tools  

  • Outstanding communications, presentation, and leadership skills that persuade and inspire others
