Provi has achieved product-market fit across the three tiers of the beverage industry with a simple premise: make ordering easier for retailers, distributors and suppliers. For our supplier partners, Provi offers the easiest way to reach retailers of all sizes — and at scale — when they’re making purchasing decisions; as a result, we can draw direct conclusions about what messages impact purchasing behavior. Our advertising products deliver incredible, best-in-standard return on ad spend for our top tier partners and are an essential revenue driver for our business. But even with our successes thus far, we’ve just scratched the surface and we need a product leader to help us fulfill that promise. As the Director of Product and GM of Provi’s advertising tools, you will take our advertising experiences on Provi from 0 to 1 by driving product strategy, setting go-to-market plans and maximizing performance for a core revenue driver and essential prong of Provi’s monetization strategy in 2021 and beyond. 

What you'll be doing:

Lead the product and GTM strategy for Provi’s advertising tools. Think holistically about the advertising product and business, from the user-facing experiences it powers to its current and future revenue-generating potential. You will have joint P+L responsibilities for this key piece of Provi’s strategy.

Define, prioritize and execute advertising experiences across all Provi user segments (suppliers, distributors and retailers) with a cohesive and strategic roadmap.

Constantly look for new opportunities to optimize the health of the business and explore new revenue-generating opportunities for Provi.

Work with a team of engineers, data scientists, designers and analysts to define, prototype and launch innovative solutions that solve customer problems and reach business goals in scalable ways.

Work closely with distributor and supplier sales teams to track pipelines and performance and inform and develop Go to Market strategies and tactics. 

Be the internal expert on marketplace advertising at Provi. 

Keep the user problem that you’re solving top of mind -- and ensure that the rest of the organization is as well. Intake user feedback -- both qualitative (user research studies, surveys, and focus groups) and quantitative (onboarding funnels, usage trends) -- to determine new feature sets and iterations on existing functionality.

Above all strive to make the Provi team, business and product great.

What we are looking for:

At least 5 years of product management experience in highly entrepreneurial, fast-moving environments. 

Deep experience and proven track record with marketplaces, including merchandising and advertising products, from user-facing experiences to the underlying APIs and algorithms that power them.

Understanding of the alcohol beverage industry is a huge plus. 

Extensive track record of getting things done and done well with lots of examples of projects you've spearheaded.

Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making experience. 

Amazing written and verbal communication skills.

Comfort with ambiguity and the grit to turn uncertainty into action.
