The Role

Paro is an AI enabled technology company. The exponential revenue growth that Paro has experienced in the last few quarters has been enabled by AI. Paro is hiring a leader to drive our Artificial Intelligence, Business Intelligence & Data product forward working on a dedicated modern product and engineering team. This product manager is responsible for developing AI and data products that will differentiate Paro against its competitors. In addition, this leader will interact with the business executives to fulfill their business intelligence needs. This leader will lead product management, and engineering. The team will include a data scientists, business analysts, cloud data architects, and engineers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Artificial Intelligence, business intelligence and data engineering. This person will be an expert in collaborating across functional teams, and has experience working on a modern product development team. This Product Manager will take ownership of the ecommerce product to grow the business unit through innovative solutions, quickly.

Responsibilities include

• Product management and engineering for AI, BI and data products
• Collaboration with an empowered product team (data scientists, business analysts, lead engineer, & data architects and engineers) in a fast paced, ambiguous, innovative, & agile environment
   
• Guide the AI team on model development, ensure that the results are accurate, implement the algorithms in business operations, measure the business outcomes, and fine tune the algorithms to achieve the desired business objective.
• Lead the standardization of metadata across the company.
• Management of the AI, BI and Data products backlog, sprint planning, and execution
• Ability to “story tell” the results of AI modelling to business executives in simple business language
• Drive the implementation of a modern cloud data platform and AI technologies such as Snowflake, Sagemaker, Airflow, FiveTran, Postgres, and Looker.
• Work with the stakeholders to take the products to market
• Own the roadmap, user experience, & develop user stories
• Work with team members located in different time zones (US, Europe, & India)
• Data guided approach to solutions and KPIs

Requirements

• 5+ years in a product management, engineering, or technology role
• Bachelor's degree in STEM, or comparable hands on experience
• Nice to have: familiarity with corporate finance (accounting 101 & finance 101)
• Experience developing AI products that had a measurable positive impact on the business.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey intricate ideas in a simple, clear, and concise way
• Understanding of why modern product teams succeed
• Proven ability to interact with business stakeholders and users 
• Proven experience influencing without authority (stakeholders & product teams) 
• Proven success working with cross-functional teams
• Experience evangelizing product vision and solutions across the organization
• Experience developing AI, BI and data products, and comfortable learning emerging technologies
• Very detail oriented with strong follow through 
• Past experience collaborating across functional areas in Sales, Customer Success, Recruiting, Finance, Accounting, and Marketing
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) - Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms
