We all depend on healthcare throughout our lifetimes, for ourselves, and our families and friends, but it is notoriously difficult to navigate and understand. As an industry that comprises 20% of the US economy we think healthcare should work better for all of us. At Collective Health we believe it’s time for a new day in healthcare where as members we are informed and empowered to make the right care choices when the decisions are urgent and critical.

One of the core beliefs that underlies our work is that we can drive a better member experience, better health outcomes, and better healthcare cost management by enabling a more transparent and more competitive medical care ecosystem: let different players compete and let the best products and services win based on their results.

To work with different ecosystem players, we need to be masters of data. It has to be easy to get data into our system, cleanse it, map it to our internal models, and similarly to send it out to partner organizations. As we substantially expand our partnerships with traditional medical networks (for traditional medical care), PBMs (for Rx processing), and more specialized point solution partners (e.g. telemedicine, behavioral health, cancer, diabetes, etc), we need a senior, battle-tested product leader who can steer our work in this space.

As our Product Management Director of Integrations and Partnerships, you’ll dive in with engineers, data analysts, and implementation teams to understand, engage, and problem solve on the technical details to make this work. But you’ll also lead our broader thinking on how we approach this problem with potential partner organizations, and throughout our development organization, so that Collective Health can effectively grow and scale to support an ever growing ecosystem of partners from small innovative startups all the way to the largest existing provider and payer players in the US. You’ll build and champion a strategy for Collective Health in partnership with our counterparts across the company, define the product roadmap, assemble and/or hire the right people to get the job done, and lead our teams to execute it successfully.

While we are embracing a remote-flexible work week, employees are expected to be within commuting distance of an office. The  frequency of in-office days will be determined on a team-by-team basis closer to the reopening of our offices.

What you'll do:

  • Work with engineers, data analysts, and our partnerships team to define internal data models and map partner organizations’ data to ours
  • Manage multiple projects that span company lines to set up successfully working systems to process medical claims data
  • Be a representative for Collective Health when engaging with our counterparts at other organizations
  • Manage our product roadmap as well as project timelines and resourcing needs to balance short term needs, hard deadlines, and longer term strategic investments to enable us to scale
  • Build and manage a Product Management team focused on data integrations and act as an overall leader of our Product Management org

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience (12+ preferred)
  • 4+ years managing other Product Managers
  • Track record of delivering large, complex projects (including both technical and organizational complexity)
  • Experience driving product strategy that drove meaningful business impact
  • Affinity for and willingness to dive into technical details, including file format specs
  • Experience hiring and building teams
  • Experience as a product leader in organizations of different sizes/maturity levels is a plus but not required
