At Vivid Seats, our results driven Product Management team works cross functionally with designers, engineers and senior management to provide the best experiences for our buyers, sellers, and internal teams. To succeed in this role you should be analytical, creative and comfortable driving strategy, leading meetings, and transforming the most valuable ideas into actionable plans, products, and results.
As Director, Product Management, you will report directly into the Vice President of Product and User Experience and have a team of Product Managers across multiple business lines reporting directly to you. Therefore, joy in growing and developing a team is a must. You will bring your track record of successful execution and product strategy to our fast-paced Agile environment. You will quickly assess situations and make recommendations for key decisions. You will also be responsible for ensuring all teams are aligned on priorities as well as communicating out to the broader organization on those priorities. Above all, you will spend your days obsessed with our users, viewing every decision through hyper customer centricity lenses and ensuring that we champion to the best decision.
To be successful, you'll need
- 10+ years of Product Management experience in technology organizations.
- 3+ years leading and developing product management teams, both local and remote
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Experience with test and learn
- Empathy for the customer and intuitive insights into customer experience
- Track record in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features
- Experience influencing and creating a culture that efficiently yields results
- Experience owning development of a product and working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and quality professionals
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to sell your vision across all levels of an organization
