Position Summary

The eCommerce Product Manager is responsible for the strategic development of Legacy.com's integrated eCommerce business. The eCommerce Product Manager will define the vision and strategy to drive traffic, conversion, revenue growth and profitability. The product owner must be able to perform business and financial analysis, build business cases to justify expenditures and take comprehensive ownership to deliver a world-class customer experience that delivers results.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Proven in the area of eCommerce acquisition, engagement, UX and retention strategy
  • Dynamic and results oriented, while providing leadership and direction with excellent communication
  • An innovative problem solver who can transform ideas into reality

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for product vision, roadmap, requirements and prioritization to deliver the highest value
  • Monitor and exceed KPIs and financial goals and report to management
  • Manage vendor integration to ensure a seamless integration to eCommerce platform
  • Identify and drive short-term initiatives that optimize conversion performance
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to A/B test data-driven refinements to existing features and define the product roadmap
  • Ownership of the customer journeys from campaign CTAs, product discovery, checkout, and customer retention
  • As Product Owner on an agile scrum team, represent the user/customer needs, convey the vision and goals at the beginning of every sprint and prioritize the backlog
  • Keep abreast of eCommerce industry trends and build vendor relationships to ensure innovation that drives sales and increases customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business or related quantitative field; MBA or related advanced degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience managing eCommerce
  • Experience deriving insights from large data sets and developing business cases
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Optimizely, Hotjar, Usertesting or similar tools
  • Demonstrated product success with the ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced multi-product environment
  • Experience in the following product and marketing areas: payments, mobile, SEO, personalization, email, social media, marketplaces and online marketing
  • Strong interest in usability and direct interaction with users to understand the problems to solve
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate and explain complex elements in a simple way
  • Ability to remove roadblocks through creative problem solving, negotiation or conflict management skills
