Freelance Product Manager
Overview
The Marketing Store is a customer engagement agency with specialties in promotions, loyalty/crm, and product . We are looking for a multi-talented Technical Experience Manager with mobile app and loyalty experience. This position would work closely with Strategy, Creative, Account, and UX teams to deliver best in class product solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers and business stakeholders to understand, discover, and document customer needs
- Regularly prioritize and groom product backlogs
- Define and track success metrics and KPIs to verify assumptions and product direction
- Execute on the product vision based on stakeholder and customer input
- Create and share a product roadmap that accomplishes business goals and timelines
- Manage the execution of one or more technical product or project areas
- Communicate statuses and remove blockers preventing the functional teams from doing their jobs
- Work within scope, cost, and timeline constraints
- Breakdown larger complex tasks into multiple small simpler tasks
- Engage with Creative, UX, and Technology teams to bridge design and engineering work effort
- Strategize with Leadership and Account teams to determine the direction of your product area
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- Experience working within the SDLC
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely results in dynamic environment
- Experience working with both local and remote teams
- Travel Requirements: Up to 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Product Manager for a customer-facing (B2B or B2C) product on web and mobile
- Exposure into machine learning and data analytics
- A background in marketing or software development
- General knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
