About the Role

As a Group Product Manager you are responsible for turning our investment in pharmacy technology into value for the business. A player-coach, you own a lane of the pharmacy product while also partnering with the other pharmacy product managers to ensure an optimal and tightly coordinated roadmap.

You will spend time each month building and championing a vision for how technology can support our pharmacy operations, providing thought leadership and guidance for product teams focused on pharmacy technology. Working with stakeholders in finance and pharmacy operations, you will ensure we are able to effectively measure the impact of our pharmacy technology on pharmacy operations KPIs. You are vocal about gaps in process and a partner with tech leadership in improving those processes and ensuring clear lines of responsibility between pharmacy product teams.

Requirements

GPM Responsibilities

  • Work with finance and operations stakeholders to build and track high-level pharmacy KPIs
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize high impact impact focus areas to support pharmacy operations. Work with product managers to frame those focus areas as technology opportunities.
  • Define, evolve, and champion an overall product vision for our pharmacy software. Communicate this through a quarterly and annual product strategy for pharmacy technology.
  • Keep a pulse on external technology and software that can improve our pharmacy, including expanding partnerships with our integration partners or bringing on new partners to improve pharmacy operations
  • Ensure pharmacy product teams have clearly defined lanes of responsibility and that, when necessary, roadmaps are aligned and coordinated
  • Mentor / coach product managers responsible for pharmacy technology; support their development through actionable feedback
  • Partner with engineering leadership on initiatives or focus areas that may impact multiple teams
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership on improving product team processes
  • Lead a cross functional product team through the entire product development lifecycle (from discovery to delivery). See list of additional PM responsibilities below
  • Serve as an expert for divvyDOSE’s pharmacy technology platform


PM Responsibilities

  • Define a product vision that supports divvyDOSE’s strategic objectives with the ability to continuously adapt based on the changing business and industry landscape
  • Develop the product’s KPIs and maintain a product scorecard showing progress to those results. Perform and report on pre/post launch analysis of each product initiative focused on performance against those KPIs.
  • Build and maintain a 12 month roadmap that communicates the focus and direction of the product, while developing a strong backlog of products/features that will help achieve the product vision
  • Build a strong stakeholder and customer feedback pipeline in order to continuously adapt the backlog to changing business and stakeholder needs
  • Lead a cross functional product team through the entire product development lifecycle (from discovery to delivery). Build an environment conducive to forming a high performing team.
  • Write and define business requirements and user stories to ensure a valuable and usable product is built. Partner with the rest of our technology team to ensure the solution meets the product requirements and delivers against the product objectives
  • Communicate and collaborate with Product Managers on other products to ensure alignment around product and deliver objectives.

Our engineering office is in River North in the famous Mies van der Rohe building with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River.
