Currently McDonald’s is seeking an expert HR Product Development Analyst to join our growing U.S. People team as part of a new group to focus on delivering HR Products for use across our U.S. restaurants. You will be support end-to-end design, deployment and adoption of new HR products. You will be reporting to the HR Product Development Manager and collaborate close with both internal and external partners including Zone People Officers, HR Operations & Restaurant Employee Experience COE, and external vendors to name a few. You will be accountable for delivering product materials, features, and reports.
Responsibilities
• Supports end-to-end design, project management, deployment and adoption of new HR products (e.g., hiring automation app, youth-targeted recruiting tools, employee experience initiatives, employee Uniforms, employer brand, etc.)
• Performs user research and builds synthesized reports to provide qualitative insights into product strategy and use cases (e.g., employer brand and workforce changes, employee experience, etc.)
• Builds documentation, materials, feature specifications, etc. to support the rapid development of new HR product
• Initiate and reports on product testing, report on progress
• Monitors critical metrics for initiative testing to identify areas for improvement
• Receives product objectives and guidance from key partners and HR Product Development Manger to inform direction of work
• Works with third party vendors (e.g., research agencies) to ensure activities are aligned to objectives, timelines, and agreed upon deliverables
• Maintains a customer-centric view of HR solutions
Minimum Requirements
• Test-and-learn mentality to iterate on prototypes and glean insights from testing
• Collaborative team member that communicates effectively with end users, experts, vendors, and HR Product Development Manager
• Ability to digest data and qualitative insights to inform tactical product decisions
• Produces reports, materials, and product specification guides with phenomenal attention to detail
• Takes a user-centric perspective of product decisions and features
• Ability to build empathy with end users and identify unmet needs
• Experience working with third party vendors preferred
• Project/product management experience preferred
