About The Role:

WayUp is looking for a Job Operations Associate to join our Product team. You’ll play an integral role in improving the quality and relevance of jobs on WayUp. Working with our Product Operations team, you will review, optimize, and approve opportunities available to our job seekers.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Reviewing the content of job listings for appropriateness on the platform
  • Formatting, classifying, and improving job listings to help job seekers identify relevant opportunities
  • Identifying trends in listing quality to further refine the posting process
  • Escalating issues with job listings to Customer Service or Product teams
  • Managing Service-Level Agreements (timelines) for job posting approvals
  • May support other operations processes including event posting, job seeker support, and other as-needed tasks

What We're Looking For:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience (2+ years clerical, administrative, or data entry)
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable working routine operations tasks
  • Word processing and/or document formatting experience
  • Ability to work a regular schedule (hours flexible) and manage independent goals
  • Familiarity with technology, preferably working in a remote environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Markdown
  • Familiarity with XML
  • Prior HR and/or recruiting experience
  • Prior experience in customer service
  • Prior experience in content moderation
