We’re looking to add a Product Manager to work with a new team that’s been created to take advantage of Kroger-related initiatives. You will help identify opportunities and execute successful technical projects. We're looking for someone with a multidisciplinary skill set and ability to work in a highly cross-functional role to drive initiatives forward and then help lead those efforts through the development life-cycle. This role will partner closely with stakeholders and Product Managers across the organization. You’re detail-oriented and have a knack for solving complex problems. You're able to communicate on a technical level with engineers, and on a value level with stakeholders. You’re creative, collaborative, incredibly resourceful and laser focused on delivering value to our customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- You will be a key player in integrating our new retail business into our existing technology and process, responsible for many things including definition/gathering of business requirements, project implementation, and defining and launching experiments. You will be testing and learning and seeking truth, scrappily hunting down customer insights, data, and research that might generate solid new ideas for Home Chef.
- Collaborate across teams with other Product Managers in regards to feature development combining business impact, magnitude, and level of effort
- Embrace a culture of empathy for digital user experiences and act as an advocate for both internal and external customers
- Work with UX researchers and designers to define delightful user
- Identify and track metrics that measure performance, setting goals against those metrics and drive awareness of our successes and failures on a scheduled basis
- Ideate improvements for digital experiences informed by research, user feedback, and gut instinct
- Formulate and test hypotheses based on user research and behavioral analytics
- Launch experiment variations to a percentage of traffic, measure their impact on performance against the current experience in real time
- Build and maintain feature requirements, schedules, and take ownership of the implementation and delivery of key objectives
- Help lead the development sprints, prioritize, write and groom stories
- Answer questions and optimize the team’s process and enable flow
- Perform the role of Scrum Master in the Agile Scrum process Investigate production issues and identify probable causes, as well as coordinate the activities and resources necessary to implement the resolution
WHO YOU ARE:
- 2+ years of product management experience
- Experience with software development tools like Jira, Github, ProdPad
- Experience leading agile software development teams, ideally in a startup environment
- A data-driven mindset and experience with decision analysis tools and methods
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Self-starter that finds ways to dive in rather than wait for assignments
- Deeply empathetic interpersonal skills within complex organizations and an intense curiosity to understand how our internal teams and systems work together
- Strong analytical, and creative problem-solving capabilities with the aptitude to identify KPIs and request and analyze data
- Understanding of common design/UX patterns and methodologies on web and mobile
- Successfully communicates with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Use data to support hypotheses and intuition
