Manager, Product Operations
Hireology’s product and technology team is remote-first, meaning it is not mandatory to work from the Chicago office at any time.
Reporting to the Director of Product Analytics & Operations, you will oversee the Product team’s daily operations and partner with Product leadership to develop and execute an efficient, data-driven operational strategy focused on achieving strategic initiatives and enabling Product team members to do their best work. This role partners with the Product Analytics, UX, and Product Management functions to streamline communication and collaboration between Product, Engineering, Revenue, and Marketing through consistent processes and feedback channels.
As our Manager, Product Operations you’ll be responsible for:
- Manage team of Product Operations Specialists focused on supporting daily operations of Career Sites and App Engine
- Oversee daily operations of Customer Feedback internalization process (Productboard, Gong, Slack)
- Manage Product release process in partnership with Revenue and Marketing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Revenue to strengthen customer feedback loops and scale product knowledge within the organization through ongoing training opportunities and maintenance of internal knowledge base
- Manage product-related tools (communication, roadmapping, prototyping, Spark, etc)
- Oversee new process development and existing process improvement initiatives
- Own and develop the Product team’s operational strategies (the “How we get it done” strategy vs the “what we are doing” strategy)
- Manage development and maintenance of Product-related SOP documentation (team wiki)
- Help execute Product Growth function strategy to increase product-driven revenue opportunities throughout the business
- Develop and oversee project management support infrastructure for Product team, including:
- Resource and timeline management for in-progress development work
- UX research support
- Competitive intelligence research support
- Product team onboarding for new hires

- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship -- currently or in the future --
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant high tech industry experience, increasing responsibilities over time from individual contributor to team leadership
- 3+ years of project management, product management, or strategy and operations experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Data analysis skills; ability to pull from many different data sources and then provide insights on that data
- Experience with SQL & Business Intelligence tools, i.e., Looker
- Experience with owning product lifecycle, from concept to market to end of life
- Automotive, Hospitality, or Healthcare experience is strongly preferred
