Product Analyst

Our platform of products combined with a concierge service team deliver a world-class customer experience to business owners and their team.

We build easy-to-use tools for businesses that empower them to more easily succeed as well as weave rich connections with their customers. SpotOn’s platform offers rewards, deals, online reviews, and data analytics in conjunction with cutting edge POS systems and payment applications. Tools like these were previously only available to big businesses with big bankrolls and their own developers, but our platform caters to neighborhood stores, independent retailers, and small to mid-sized chains.

We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our growing team! This person will help interpret merchant feedback for our current product offerings so we can continue to build a product that delights our users.

You will…

• Perform market research and collect customer feedback
• Evaluate products and forecast performance
• Provide recommendations on product launch strategies
• Generate reports and present on results findings
• Monitor product performance
• Analyzes market data, trends, and behaviors

Day to day activities include...

• Working with Development, QA, and Customer Success to determine pain points in product, and help build new product features and enhancements
• Working with the design team to build UI that enhances user flow
• Reviewing request and bug tickets for impact and prioritization
• Writing user stories and acceptance criteria for necessary features, or enhancements
• Writing bug reports in Jira with clear steps to reproduce

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Product Analyst experience or equivalent
• Experience delivering complex, powerful products that are made simple for users, delivering successful results
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development, writing use cases, user stories and detailed acceptance criteria
• Driven by analytics and metrics, leveraging data to make informed decisions
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Able to organize and articulate complex technology concepts to diverse stakeholders

Bonus points for:

• Restaurant experience (manager, server, bartender)
• Business analyst or Product experience within POS or Restaurants
