STATS is looking for a Product Analyst to join our team in our Chicago headquarters. In this role, you will become an expert on STATS' data feed products across a variety of sports, including aspects such as coverage, depth and detail, quality, and latency. You will synthesize internal and external input on the products and perform quantitative analysis to recommend our path forward. You will then execute on that by providing detailed product specifications, developing go-to-market market materials, and communicating both internally and with customers. You will work closely with our engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and synthesize sports data trends and opportunities through proactive market research and customer feedback
  • Develop detailed product specifications to meet market requirements
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to outline the short-term and long-term product roadmap, pricing, and bundling strategy
  • Complete and update the internal and external documentation on our data
  • Monitor and react to product KPIs
  • Assist other departments such as marketing and finance with required information on our data and facilitate the creation of data-related company collateral
  • Provide internal training to other departments such as sales and customer success on data products
  • Lead product migration and sunsetting execution

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business or other relevant field
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to outline product specifications, project revenue, and drive market success
  • Advanced understanding of industrial data lifecycle
  • Experience with databases, APIs, and working with data
  • An analytical mindset and a quantitative approach
  • Proven experience and success in market research
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities and make critical decisions
  • A solid understanding of major global team sports
