Hyatt is seeking a Product Delivery Manager to act as a program level technical lead on the Global Digital and Technology organization, who are building new and innovating existing systems serving our Hyatt Members, Guests, and Colleagues.  In this technical role, this individual will work across technology and business teams to facilitate feature development from discovery into production.

You enjoy having a direct role to play in improving the experience of millions of customers worldwide who use Hyatt’s digital platforms.

You are a strong verbal and written communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Work with Product Development teams to deliver projects and products, optimizing for a “test and learn” approach where possible.

Chase down and remove team impediments in a matrixed, multi-disciplinary environment.

Lead collaborative planning sessions to prioritize the work that needs to be done in consideration of team capacity.

Assisting the Product Development teams in triaging run-time issues in production

Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for each development stage (integration, stage, production).

Work across technology and business teams, driving feature and release alignment

Plan and coordinate web releases on a regular cadence. Working closely with product teams and IT operations.

Communicate release changes to all stakeholders in both written and verbal forms.

Work with product teams to identify and implement improvements to the release process.

Be comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative, experimental, and data-driven environment

Qualifications

Experience

3+ years of progressively complex experience in a technical or project management role within an eCommerce product engineering environment leveraging frameworks and platforms like React, NextJs, GraphQL, MySQL, and Kafka.

Strong Agile experience preferred in an environment leveraging develops patterns and practices.

Some experience using tools like Splunk, Datadog, Adobe Analytics etc.

Working collaboratively with disparate technology groups to identify and tackle release issues.

Education

Associate Degree in a technical field (CS or MIS) or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
