ABOUT US

We build tools for 100+ brands and retailers in the ecommerce space that help them offer free two-day shipping, same-day delivery, and product expansion into new marketplaces -- keeping them several steps ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing industry.

We are a purpose and culture driven organization that prides ourselves on connectivity, equality, diversity and inclusion. We are committed to our people as a service-oriented company as our people are at the heart of everything we do.

We are Headquartered in Chicago, with offices in New York, Conshohocken, PA (Philly area), and Krakow, Poland and we operate as a subsidiary of FedEx Services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Retail eCommerce is a fast-paced, large, and competitive industry, currently being dominated by a few large companies.  We believe this creates massive hurdles for individual consumers and retailers to have the choice and ability to connect with each other for magical shopping experiences. At our heart, ShopRunner is a technology and data company whose mission revolves around creating products to bring the aggregate scale of our retailer network and membership to all so that no one feels like they have to go it alone.  Nothing is more important to that mission: making it easy to effectively share data between our products, consumers, retailers at scale.

The ShopRunner Catalog, a consolidated view of all the products sold across our retailer network, is foundational to all of ShopRunner’s Products and Services. As a Product Manager for Catalog, you will be responsible for ensuring the Product Catalog data breadth, depth, and quality meet the business needs of a range of clients including the ShopRunner website, emails, marketplace syndication, and same day delivery products.

In order to support wide assortment selection and convenient checkout, we need a robust product catalog that is complete, accurate, up to date, organized, and easily searchable. You will be responsible for measuring and monitoring how the Product Catalog stacks up against these needs, working with managers and stakeholders to develop a strategy to most efficiently address gaps, and executing tactics individually and collaboratively to rapidly improve the data quality of the Product Catalog.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Define and own the plan for the function based on business objectives, roadmap, and deep understanding of our consumer, retailer, and marketplace needs
  • Take ownership of engaging, educating, and evangelizing the solutions you build
  • Drive successful launch and adoption of platform products and features
  • Develop a cross-functional and multi-faceted strategy to continuously improve overall Product Catalog data quality
  • Define direction and work efforts for the catalog team, helping them to remove roadblocks and to continually deliver value to ShopRunner teams
  • Partner with engineering, analytics, operations, and taxonomy functions to ensure we are sustaining and growing the capability across platform, data, quality, & operations.
  • Create processes and execute tactics against this strategy including managing and troubleshooting third-party partner feeds, data ingestion, normalization, and categorization
  • Ensure teams have consistent support, and visibility into the health of our catalog
  • Work with analytics and data science to understand and influence the build-out of our data usage capabilities
  • Work with Partner Integrations and Implementations to ensure that, as retailers come into and out of the ShopRunner network, their data is integrated into (or offboarded from) common data pipelines and operates within SLAs
  • Define product catalog interfaces for searching and browsing from our various channels (including web, data science, and public APIs)

ABOUT YOU:

  • 3+ years experience in product management, successfully building, launching and growing data products preferably in the eCommerce or analytics space.
  • Strong Analytical Ability. You love data. You are comfortable with manipulation and quantitative analysis of large data sets.
  • Detail Orientation. You sweat the small stuff. You’re extremely organized and accountable for tracking and delivering results.
  • Strong Communication Skills. You can distill complex information/data into actionable insights for diverse audiences. You are adept at communicating technical ideas to non-technical people and effortlessly translate business problems into technical solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Player. You can work with diverse stakeholders to understand requirements, set expectations, and report progress. You are excited to collaborate with various team members from data engineers to sales professionals.
  • Bias for Action. You know how to create a plan, build consensus and make things happen.
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience

We want you to bring your whole human self to work every single day. We accept you for who you are and consider everyone on an equal opportunity basis without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
