The team 
Our Product Management team brings together some of the best in our industry. Our goal is to create delightful, industry-leading products and features. The problems you will get to work on are challenging and impactful, and that makes them interesting. Collaborating with our partners in engineering and design, we are bringing some of the most innovative never-been-done-before solutions to market. Our highly collaborative cross-border Product Management team is helping design solutions from concept to launch – all while focusing on and advocating for what’s best for the customer. Our team partners closely with our Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Security teams to bring the product to market.

This position
The DocuSign Agreement Cloud connects the world’s No. 1 eSignature technology to every other aspect of the agreement process. We are looking for a Product Manager Intern to help drive the next generation of DocuSign CLM, our Contract Lifecycle Management solution that helps companies prepare and negotiate many of their business-critical agreements. You will work with existing product teams to contribute to new product features and work across teams to develop the roadmap, functional specifications and designs of features that satisfy customer requirements, gain experience in the full software development process from early stage idea to launch. You will excel in this role if you are an excellent communicator with the ability to work with nearly every function at DocuSign, from engineering and design to user research, product marketing, customer support, program management and sales. We are especially interested in creative and quantitative, data-driven product managers. Your objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

This position is an Individual Contributor role.

Responsibilities

  • Drive requirements and translate them to functional specifications for engineering and design
  • Prioritize and manage the backlog for effective release and sprint planning
  • Become an authority on your area of responsibility and identify areas of opportunity through research and data
  • Spend time with end-users to understand their pain points and gather insights on how we can solve big customer problems in a delightful way
  • Work with engineering, design, user research, product marketing, and program management to build and launch quality features on time
  • Take a data-driven approach in defining success metrics, prioritizing requirements, and communicating the plan, progress, and success 

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing or completed an MBA or Master’s in Engineering Management or equivalent education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as an owner of a product backlog
  • Experience working on a SaaS product
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, especially engineering, design, user research, product marketing, customer support, program management and sales
  • Demonstrated ability to manage product delivery commitments with multiple stakeholders 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Direct experience with Agile development and Design Thinking methodology
  • Experience using data to make decisions
