As the The Product Manager of Merchandising Systems, you will be responsible for owning multiple product areas including MDM, item setup, pricing and promotion with the goal of delivering the best omnichannel experience for our customers. With your cross-functional teams (merchants, developers, QA, UX design) that span ideation-strategizing to execution-delivery.
Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role
Contribute to the development of a product vision and roadmap.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement roadmap.
Become an expert on your products and champion the needs of the customer and PDL/AD USA business goals.
Develop a strong understanding of our customers, manage multiple concurrent projects, with the ability to prioritize features based on KPI's.
Drive cross-functional teams during the life cycle of product development.
Inspire and motivate the teams to deliver innovative and impactful solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.
Blend strong business acumen, technical problem solving and agile execution.
Contribute to the prioritization of ecommerce features and understand the art of sequencing their delivery with an agile framework.
Vet scope, requirements, use case/user scenario, test case documents and design specifications, in partnership with UX, product managers, QA and engineering.
Develop metrics to measure success of program features, analyze results, and partner across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations.
The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients
Bachelors degree (in computer science, information systems or related field is a plus)
2+ years of product management experience in retail/ ecommerce company
Experience working in an agile development environment and managing iteration-level deliverables.
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Data driven and KPI focused mindset
Extra Spices - What you should bring to the table
Previous experience with MDM/ PIM, pricing or promotion tools.
Previous experience in the grocery industry.
Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
Self motivation with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
