ABOUT US

We build tools for 100+ brands and retailers in the ecommerce space that help them offer free two-day shipping, same-day delivery, and product expansion into new marketplaces -- keeping them several steps ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing industry.

We are a purpose- and culture-driven organization that prides ourselves on connectivity, equality, diversity and inclusion. We are committed to our people as a service-oriented company as our people are at the heart of everything we do.

We are Headquartered in Chicago, with offices in New York, Conshohocken, PA (Philly area), and Krakow, Poland and we operate as a subsidiary of FedEx Services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Retail has undergone a massive transformation. Consumer expectations have accelerated, and omnichannel experiences have gone from a "nice to have" to table stakes. A pillar of the omnichannel transformation is unlocking forward-deployed store inventory for fast flexible delivery. ShopRunner's Same-Day Exchange empowers retailers to unlock their brick-and-mortar inventory for eCommerce same-day delivery. We help retailers turn their stores into mini-fulfillment centers and connect retailers with a network of last-mile providers. Moving physical goods from one place to another is a complex, dynamic system that is evolving fast. We're looking for a Product Manager to help us build an open ecosystem for eCommerce, shipping, and fulfillment.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team building a suite of products for our merchant partners and internal stakeholders. You will pursue better ways to improve the experience for retailers, partners, consumers, and our operations team.

The ideal candidate is excited about logistics or eCommerce, has a track record of launching new features and refining existing ones. You haven't had direct experience in product management but love building? Apply and tell us why you're suited to make the jump to Product.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Product ownership of our growing suite of interfaces and APIs
  • Drive and communicate sprint planning to reach our roadmap milestones
  • Contribute to product vision and roadmap strategy
  • Interview internal and external stakeholders to understand pain points and opportunities
  • Collaborate with design and engineering to plan, develop, launch, and refine new features
  • Build cases for new features or products that enhance the experience for customers or partners
  • Work collaboratively with sales and partner success to increase product adoption
  • Participate in and present Products at prospective and current partner retailer meetings
  • Partner with engineering to influence technical solutions and architecture
  • Define and prioritize product feature backlog as part of agile software development
  • Drive business results and improve key metrics

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • An entrepreneurial mindset - you are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, thrive in ambiguity, and get work done
  • Bias for action - you know how to make things happen and influence your peers
  • Demonstrate empathy - you can look at a situation from many perspectives and incorporate insights into your roadmap
  • Hands-on experience - your previous title is less important than a proven track record in recognizing opportunities and delivering in-market products
  • Excellent communication skills - you can work across multiple projects, align on goals, and deliverables
  • Stratechery - you possess a combination of business and technical acumen
  • Growth mindset - you're a continuous learner, curious, and genuinely interested in your work
  • Zoom in and zoom out - you are comfortable operating at 30,000 ft and at the lowest level
  • Experience in fulfillment, last-mile logistics, and/or retail supply chains is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of product management experience - if you don't have Product experience and want to break in, make your case; we love enterprising individuals!

We want you to bring your whole human self to work every single day. We accept you for who you are and consider everyone on an equal opportunity basis without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
