The Product Manager is a key leader within Product Development and works with Product Owners across multiple dedicated teams. This person is responsible for creating a product(s) vision and strategy, based on an outward market point of view. The Product Manager helps Product Owners define what needs to be built, and champions the vision to the product team and stakeholders.
This person should have a talent for conveying a clear and compelling narrative and an enthusiasm for creating vital functionality, while striving to innovate and expand our market-leading product suite. This position requires commitment to exceptional results, a strong desire for continuous improvement and the ability to think strategically about our products while empowering and leading others to do the same. This in-turn will ensure we continue to innovate and expand our market-leading product suite.

Required Experience:
- 3-5+ years of deep domain expertise in time and labor
- 5+ years of experience in product management
- 5+ years of experience in Payroll / Human Capital Management, preferably at a SaaS provider
- Experience growing and empowering product talent to develop a strategy and vision and incrementally deliver outcomes
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications, a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, technology skills, written and oral communication skills
During the last three months, you would have:
- Developed the product vision and strategy based on market research and customer outreach, and aligned business owners and product stakeholders to that vision
- Facilitated the translation of product vision into prioritized and deliverable epics and user stories across Product Owners
- Coordinated with other Product Owners to establish overall release goals and identify dependencies for cross-product initiatives
- Driven continuous improvement; shared lessons learned and contributed to the development of the agile practices
- Facilitated and guided product planning and stakeholder interactions
- Worked with internal and external customers to fully understand and conceptualize features and work flows related to those features
- Understood the competitive landscape and balance but not be beholden to it
- Acted as the voice of the customer, answered product related questions, and provided overall direction
- Facilitated longer-term career plans with each direct report, supported their development and found opportunities for team members to fulfill their goals
- Developed a strategic plan for talent alignment, growth and succession, in support of both the projected needs of the teams in the future and the potential of team members
