We are seeking a Product Manager to join our rapidly growing global workforce in Chicago. In this role, you will serve as the primary product owner for ThinkMarkets’s web and mobile trading applications, working closely with internal teams and customers to drive growth, engagement, and experiential excellence. This individual will be responsible for our ongoing product development, enhancements, road maps, and releases, and will partner with teams globally to provide best-in-class trading applications for our customers. The Product Manager reports to the Head of Product and Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal and external development teams through the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to delivery and support, with the goal of exceeding internal and external customer expectations
  • Partner with UI/UX designers, developers, and engineers to develop prototypes and future products for our flagship ThinkTrader platform channels
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and business leaders in defining and executing on the data product road map and new product requirements
  • Gather, analyze, and advocate for complex solutions based on end-user feedback and product usage data (via user testing, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Collaborate with global internal teams to manage stakeholder expectations, communicate updates to the business and maintain product roadmap
  • Participate in the QA process by providing functional testing of bugs and features
  • Evaluate new technology solutions which support the delivery of a superior trading experience
  • Support user acceptance testing to ensure usability

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience Product Development, Financial Services and Capital Markets
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
  • Knowledge of capital markets and equities trading is a must
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the technical aspects of analytics, data science, and statistical methodologies, data management, analytical and data visualization software tools and the application of appropriate coding languages
  • Experience leading development teams across multiple technologies, locations, and channels (Mobile, Desktop, and Web)
  • Ability to translate customer needs into business objectives and product requirements
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proven success building and delivering award winning enterprise mobile apps built upon cloud-based architecture
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
