Product Manager
Position Description
You are passionate about products, usability, and innovation. You are comfortable with roadmapping conversations and execution level strategies. You are excited about new product innovations and leading the way in healthcare data analytics. You know your way around data structures, healthcare analytics, and risk adjustment models. You are eager to partner with Design, Engineering, and Analytics to create high quality and powerful data products for our customers.
Responsibilities
Your job as a Product Manager is to guide big ideas and initiatives into executable work – adding new features, building out MVPs, and pulling inspiration and ideas from our very capable team of product managers, data analysts, and UX. You will be tasked with working closely with the product team and our crossfunctional swimlane teams to research, concept, and craft new products, features, and other strategic initiatives. You will need to be capable of moving with deftness between high level strategy and specific implementation details, using your existing knowledge of our payer customer’s workflows and needs. On a day-to-day basis you might expect to do the following:
- Working directly with a crossfunctional swimlane team on delivering high quality product offerings
- Proactively identify product opportunities and define features
- Work with marketing and technology team members to create supporting product documentation
- Collaborate and support other product team members
- Work with engineering, UX, and data team members to craft meaningful solutions for our customer’s problems
- Work with internal customers on new feature requests, prioritization, product launches, and training
- Build and nurture relationships across the company in pursuit of building the best healthcare data products on the market
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years working in technology in a product capacity
- Familiarity and experience working in the healthcare industry, specifically payers
- Experience and understanding of risk adjustment
- Experience working on data science products
- Experience working on cross functional software development teams
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Figma
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Technical knowledge of database and table structures
- SQL knowledge
- Python experience a plus
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks a plus
