Product Manager Job Description

ClearCut Analytics is looking for an experienced, innovative Product Manager to join our fast-paced company and growing product team. The Product Manager will work cross-functionally to drive ClearCut’s development process from discovery to delivery. In this role, the Product Manager will be responsible for helping to define and then communicate the product vision and road map for both clients and internal-facing software. The ideal candidate has a knack for turning complex problems into innovative solutions and quickly organizing ideas into action. 

Responsibilities

• Manage the roadmap and create alignment with product strategy to ensure the team is always working on the most impactful projects

• Owning our competitive intelligence to inform the product roadmap

• Understand the problems of our clients and the market through research and regular interaction with users

• Collaborate with product leadership, development teams, and other business stakeholders to elicit, identify, write, and review user stories and business requirements

• Define success criteria and metrics for the product team, evaluate post-launch phases, and leverage data to guide and influence future product/feature development and prioritization

• Work with team to track progress and escalate roadblocks in spring cycles to meet deadlines

• Take ownership over product quality and perform user acceptance testing to ensure features conform to expected behavior prior to shipping to clients

• Select and manage software vendors and technology stack

• Help define, standardize and socialize product processes that allow our company to scale

Requirements

• BA or MA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field, or equivalent work experience

• 2-5 years of product management experience, preferably in a SaaS or eCommerce environment

• Ability to work with Agile Sprint planning and Jira Management

• Ability to breakdown large projects into iterative releases

• Ability to distill high-level requirements into actionable cards for design and development

• Experience with popular data analytics & visualization packages (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics, etc.)

• Track record of anticipating/identifying possible project hurdles and ensuring timely resolution.

• Capable of effectively coordinating and communicating across internal teams such as sales, success, marketing, development, and design
