The Group:
Morningstar Real-Time Data delivers market data for millions of instruments traded in markets worldwide across a full range of asset classes. We supply this data both internally to Morningstar products and externally to clients, supporting the need for fast and reliable market information in a variety of formats and time intervals.
The Role:
The Product Manager will lead a cross functional team that is responsible for the ingestion and delivery of market data on Morningstar's proprietary format for internal and external consumers. The Product Manager is responsible for delivering business priorities by setting the development roadmap and translating stakeholder/client needs to create value for our customers.
Responsibilities:

• Actively manages prioritization and scheduling of work, ensuring timely execution of deliveries to meet product goals.
• Continuously manages the Product backlog, whilst making or escalating key product decisions.
• Work with cross-functional leaders to determine technology, design, and support resource requirements to deliver on commitments.
• Work with management to develop a product vision that supports and advances business goals.
• Responsible for delivering product objectives and key results.
• Assesses value, develop cases, and prioritizes work to ensure focus is on those with maximum value.
• Applies strategic planning and translates the product roadmap to develop scope and define product backlog items that guide the development team.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Ability to motivate and grow a collaborative, cross-functional team with a track record for quality, on-time deliveries.
• Experience of working in an agile framework.
• Knowledge of exchange traded financial instruments.
• Prior experience working with Market Data desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in delivering solutions.
• A bachelor's degree in relevant field.
