Title: Product Manager

Location: Chicago, IL 

What We Are Looking For:

CityBase builds software that improves the way citizens and businesses interact with their local government. We are looking for a seasoned product manager to lead our efforts to build innovative payment products for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product roadmap and be able to justify the link between product decisions and business outcomes
• Own and maintain the quality of product execution cycles working with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and QA
• Work with product marketing and sales to execute on the Go-To-Market strategy
• Deeply understand the problem through regular interaction with customers, and translate that understanding into product insights
• Justify decisions to management and the broader company, and be able to communicate clearly and articulately for a wide range of audiences
• Work with other product teams to regularly re-visit and improve the company-wide product process

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of product development experience, with a few specifically in product management
• You understand the technical constraints of payment technology, and you can effectively collaborate with developers to ship your work
• You can translate business goals into a product strategy and roadmap
• You have proven experience with w both strategic thinking and execution
• You have excellent communication skills, in writing and in-person
• You are able to accurately estimate outcomes
• You are independent and thrive in a startup and low-touch management environment
• You can effectively prioritize the problems you know about, and work to uncover the problems you don't know yet
