Principal, Service Delivery Implementation - Event Management Product Owner

WHO YOU ARE

You are an Event Management Product Owner who is seen as a subject matter expert in Event Management with prior experience defining event management processes and target state operating models for an IT Service Delivery organization. You have worked with Incident Management and Problem Management process owners to enhance processes and tooling to ensure an end-to-end flow for Event, Incident, and Problem Management. You have partnered with Monitoring Engineering teams to implement application and infrastructure observability and monitoring platforms at scale. You have leadership experience and you are passionate about delivering best in class processes.

Furthermore:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree and bring 7+ years of experience with Event Management processes, best practices and technologies preferably ServiceNow and Dynatrace
  • You have a background working within the ITIL and IT Service Management discipline
  • You are experienced with the overall ServiceNow platform including ITSM, ITAM and ITOM
  • You have demonstrated experience designing and re-engineering processes to meet organizational goals and improve efficiency
  • You have knowledge of global operating models
  • You are able to present to all levels of management and executive leadership
  • You have demonstrated commitment to continual learning of industry best practices and standards

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As the Event Management Product Owner in the Production Assurance team you will be seen as a subject matter expert in Event Management with a primary focus of defining the event management process, governance and target state operating model. You will work with the Incident Management and Problem Management process owners to enhance our processes and tooling to ensure an end-to-end flow for the identification and escalation of issues, service restoration in a timely manner, and root cause analysis with permanent fix. You will partner with the monitoring tool team, the ServiceNow product team, as well as the service delivery and application teams to define and drive the product vision and execution of a global event management implementation and operating model for effective technology issue alerting, actioning, and incident creation and management. The role will report to the Head of Production Assurance.
