Position Summary: In this role, the Vice President of Strategy will be responsible for driving change and innovation to the overarching corporate strategy, lead innovation for the business and provide strategic insight for long-term growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for defining overarching corporate strategy 
  • Leads Innovation process for the business
  • Provides market and technology research and competitive analysis to progress our product and technology strategy
  • Integrates market knowledge, strategic insight and a strong user focus to help our organization create great products
  • Conducts research audits, knowledge maps, trend assessments, SWOT analyses to define scope and opportunities
  • Develops strategic frameworks that synthesize and summarize learning
  • Collaborates with VP to create action plans that are do-able and will create business impact
  • Partners with senior leaders and clients to develop a range of marketing growth strategies: customer, consumer, product, touchpoint, channel
  • Facilitates working sessions to identify questions and hypotheses to ensure our work delivers against our clients’ needs and delivers actionable insights
  • Maintains and grow client relationships
  • Participates in thought leadership initiatives: blogging, writing papers, conference presentations
  • Champions best practices and innovative thinking to continually improve our output

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred 
  • Has deep expertise in Consumer marketing data and Martech/ad tech segments
  • 7-10 years of work experience in product management, innovation and / or strategy development leadership roles
  • Ability to manage, process and apply large quantities of information quickly and accurately to understand the big picture
  • Understands implications of trends across business & functions
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical / critical thinking skills
  • Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working within software or tax compliance is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
