What You'll Bring

4+ years of experience in product management or commensurate role with both strategy and execution experience in the MarTech/AdTech ecosystem.

Expertise in data and identity management concepts, including privacy regulations.

In-depth knowledge of direct mail and digital advertising processes and techniques: segmentation, list processing, execution, and campaign performance measurement.

Facilitates working sessions to identify questions and hypotheses to ensure our work delivers against our clients’ needs and delivers actionable insights.

Experience documenting user personas, conducting competitive analysis, and identifying market opportunities.

Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional, highly matrixed environment.

The ability to focus on the execution of a cohesive go-to-market plan (differentiation, pricing, marketing, training & strategic partnerships)

Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.

Maintains and grows client relationships as you represent the company when soliciting customer feedback on products and services.

We’d Love to See: 

Experience writing and presenting business cases along with future-thinking thought pieces.

3+ years of experience in the MarTech / AdTech space selling data or enterprise technology solutions (CRM solutions, DMPs, CDPs, DSPs)

An entrepreneurial spirit - you’ll need to think big and develop innovative ideas. You’ll need to see opportunities where others don’t. And you’ll need to know how to execute on those ideas.

Someone who’s data savvy, who can find insights and opportunities using data—not relying solely on their gut instinct.

Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Tableau, Rally, etc.

B.A./B.S. degree required

Impact You'll Make

The Product Strategy Consultant will fill a key role within the fast-growing media & entertainment vertical within the TransUnion Marketing Solutions Team (a start-up with the full backing of TransUnion). Our solutions power media companies within the MarTech ecosystem. This role will report to the Head of Non-Credit Product Strategy.

Day-to-day activities for our team includes:

Product Strategy – assess inputs from customers, TU sales leadership, market trends, and competitive landscape to develop the product strategy for developing TU’s shared product solutions.

Research – The best-laid plans are both qualitative and quantitative. What developments are happening in the market? What is our company position? How is revenue made? What value do players offer the buyers? It’s important to collect this information in a digestible format for the ideation of new opportunities.

Planning and Roadmaps – managing vertical expectations and requirements as it pertains to defining both new solutions or new packaging. This includes developing business cases and partnering with platform teams to build out technical requirements.

Go-To-Market Collaboration – Ensuring documentation is complete, pricing strategy is in place, and a marketing plan is developed to evangelize and train both internal and external stakeholders.

Evangelize – Champion TransUnion’s product solutions throughout the organization. Foster product adoption and ongoing utilization across the M&E vertical at TransUnion.
