We’re looking for our first Safety & Security Program Lead to develop, implement, and monitor an effective program to keep Affirm secure and safe! As our Safety & Security Program Lead, you’ll utilize your expertise to solve all safety and security related matters affecting Affirm’s staff, facilities, and physical assets. You’ll work closely with property management teams to understand each of our buildings and will be responsible for establishing policies and standards for each location. This position will require national travel.

What You'll Do

  • Be the primary POC for law enforcement or personnel-related in-office issues 
  • Own safety and security at all Affirm locations - including policy, enforcement, testing and evaluation
  • Develop and update security plans, disaster office plans, crisis management plans, and policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper implementation of plans
  • Investigate safety, security, and risk management related issues
  • Develop and facilitate safety and security training
  • Manage and coordinate with external vendors to meet all safety and security needs
  • Provide technical support in the following areas:
  • Physical security/risk assessments & policy development
  • Emergency scenario planning
  • Security plan development
  • Office crisis/contingency planning
  • Other security-related functions

What We Look For

  • 3+ years of experience in security administration preferred
  • Security, military or law enforcement background a plus
  • Experience implementing security programs and strong knowledge of security management
  • Formalized training or certification in physical security and force protection
  • Experience conducting training for small groups
  • Experience presenting policies and procedures at all company events
  • Demonstrated understanding of emergencies, related security concerns and appropriate responses to such emergencies
  • Exceptional communication skills for explaining security concerns, policies, protocols, and procedures
