Senior Manager, Product Owner – Continuous Delivery/Release Engineering

The Business Technology Enterprise Architecture department is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager of the Continuous Integration team. This leader would be responsible for the technical development of engineering staff within the team. The role is a hands-on, servant leader and subject matter expert, accountable for effectively skilling, tooling and developing the team members to best support the needs of Product, along with a disciplined approach to professional development of the engineers within the team. This role coaches the team to continuously improve their process and practices, enforce appropriate quality and user experiences, drive out waste and toil, and to foster a culture of continuous innovation and learning. The role also will effectively collaborate with Continuous Delivery & other Product teams internal and external to Enterprise Architecture on the delivery of new capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Define how technical work should be done, selecting appropriate tools, defining technology, quality, experience and implementation standards and practices within the team developing Continuous Integration capabilities.
- Develop own technical skills to attain Subject Matter Expertise within Continuous Integration capabilities like Source Code Management, Orchestration, Code Quality & Build tools
- Ensure consistency of technical execution and knowledge across capabilities, sharing common practices and challenges within the team
- Responsible for writing, refining and updating user stories in an agile management tool, ensuring the team backlog stays full and prioritized
- Responsible for delivery of features and accountable for the delivery of User Stories, in partnership with the Scrum Master and Team
- Partners with Product Managers, Product Area Leads, and Architects to provide input to Product vision/roadmap and initiative prioritization/delivery
- Develop own team into a highly technically competent, consistent, thoughtful and customer-centric team of technology experts
- Own the career and performance management process for the team

- Coaches and mentors team members. Supports individuals to achieve their individual development goals. Utilizes Agile and Lean practices to identify and solve systemic issues.
- Consults with management in the analysis of short- and long-range business requirements and recommends innovations.
- Utilizes tools to support data-driven decision making. Identifies and removes blockers to enable the team to meet business goals.
- Manages software ownership and development from initial concept through continuous improvement.
- Responsible for the application ownership, development delivery, and support for value streams. Manages a team, including hiring, directing, mentoring, and assigning work.

Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in Application Development
- 2+ years of experience in supervising
