Job Description
Reverb believes in empowered product teams, where Product Management, Design, and Engineering actively partner to solve real customer problems.
The Buyer Experience team crafts and builds desktop and mobile web experiences enabling Reverb users to browse, search, discover and compare the gear that’s right for them. Buyer Experience owns a wide array of impactful, highly trafficked destinations including Reverb’s home page, search, browse, item/product pages and more.
This is a full-time position located (eventually) in Chicago, reporting to the Senior Director of Product.
Responsibilities
Develop the overall Buyer Experience strategy, guiding the development of a compelling and cohesive shopping experience on Reverb.
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Account Management to craft an outcome-focused roadmap, weighing contending needs and changing requirements to prioritize and maintain a backlog of impactful themes of work.
Ensure the successful execution of key product initiatives and be accountable for primary product metrics.
Understand the company’s major initiatives, constraints, and business performance to inform the product direction and drive the product vision forward.
Work to ensure project prioritization builds progress on larger, key initiatives while also delivering quarterly incremental revenue goals.
Use analytics and A/B testing strategies to help scope, prioritize, and measure, and communicate the impact of projects.
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant work in web/software Product Management.
Familiarity with e-commerce dynamics and primary experience components.
Understanding of UX research and product design, and how they contribute to product decision making.
Ability to use data and analysis for product planning, AB testing and behavioral impact.
Ability to thoroughly understand business and technical issues and influence decision making
A bias for action when handling challenging priorities in a way that keeps the team focused, while demonstrating progress to internal partners.
Ability to synthesize complex multi-faceted technical and business dynamics into cohesive strategic plans.
Outstanding written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and drive to deliver excellent solutions.
