The team
Our Product & Program Management teams work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-border group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch – all while focusing on and advocating for what’s best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market.

This position
The Senior Product Manager - Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) will develop the roadmap, vision, definition, design and deliver the underlying platform systems and applications necessary to support continued system scale, a broadening product portfolio, the basis for new innovative product capabilities, and improve operational efficiencies related to these industries. Your objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

You will lead the integration of our CLM product into DocuSign Agreement Cloud and ensure the delivery of a great experience for both administrators and end users. You are an excellent, high-bandwidth communicator who engages on a daily basis with nearly every function at DocuSign -- from compliance and security to customer support, user experience, engineering and program management. By doing so, you will develop the roadmap, vision, functional specifications and designs of features that satisfy the evolving business needs and requirements of our customers. Your objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and roadmap for DocuSign’s core platform document processing and management systems
• Drive the vision and requirements, translate them to functional specifications, facilitate a sound design and deliver an efficient developer experience
• Own insights on the markets and segments in which these applications compete in order to stay abreast of industry trends and channels to anticipate customer needs
• Evaluate and prioritize requirements in partnership with the business, leveraging industry best practices and new innovations
• Prioritize and manage the backlog for effective release and sprint planning
• Facilitate requirements definition across teams to decompose and document releases, epics, functional requirements to developer-ready user stories and acceptance criteria
• Work with Program Management and Engineering to ensure product ships on time and to quality

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in a tech related area (CS, EE, IT, Systems, MIS, etc.) or equivalent work experience
• 8 + years of experience in product management for an enterprise cloud/SaaS product/service
• Experience with distributed systems and platform architecture
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering IT, Operations, Program Management, Sales and Customer Support
• Direct experience in delivering a product using iterative or Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in managing products including new, existing, or legacy products
• Strong track record of building a lasting business cross-functional partnership with both internal and external groups, especially IT, Engineering, Operations, Program Management, Sales and Customer Support
• An experienced influencer with the ability to collaborate well in a matrixed environment having multiple stakeholders and roadmap delivery commitments
• Experience building and using telemetry to review site performance and make data-driven decisions
