Job Description
The Marketing Technology (or MarTech) team works closely with our marketing team to design and build technology that accelerates growth and increases user engagement. We focus on all areas of the customer lifecycle, from acquisition to retention. This involves a wide array of focus areas, including performance marketing, SEO, email and push, content and curation, and personalization. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us to help drive strategy and delivery.
Responsibilities
Build an outcome-focused roadmap, weighing competing needs and changing requirements to prioritize and maintain a backlog of impactful themes of work.
Intimately understand our marketing tech stack, including the technical systems, operational processes, and marketing strategies.
Work with team members in marketing to understand their priorities, partner with them to find solutions to achieving their goals, and integrate those solutions into the product roadmap. Follow through on communication and training after delivery.
Work to ensure project prioritization builds progress on larger, key initiatives while delivering tools that help the marketing team run the business day to day.
Use analytics and testing strategies to help scope, prioritize, and measure, and communicate the impact of projects.
Partner with marketing team members on a growth experiment roadmap, experiment design, and execution across key channels.
Handle 3rd party vendor relationships, ensuring we are partnering with the right external teams and getting the most out of our integrations. Partner with the engineering team to help onboard new tools.
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant work as a Product Manager, with experience in marketing technology products and services.
Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making.
A bias for action when managing competing priorities in a way that keeps the team focused, while demonstrating progress to stakeholders.
Track record of anticipating/identifying possible project hurdles and ensuring timely resolution.
Experience participating in technical discussions and running meetings with technical and business leaders.
Familiarity with consumer facing, e-commerce marketing tactics and customer lifecycle metrics.
Ability to use data and analysis for product planning and understanding impact.
Outstanding written and verbal skills.
Experience working specifically with customer data platforms, email service providers, paid ad channels, SEO, or other growth tools.
