With revenue growing at breakneck speed, Flexport is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to help develop innovative products to solve real logistics problems within trucking. International shipments begin and end with trucking moves, which are often the most costly, complex and time sensitive. Flexport is changing the way trucking companies do business with powerful products that automate work and enhance visibility. You will work alongside our team of industry experts and passionate technologists to build and drive adoption of key technology. Our trucking platform includes an expansive, standalone suite of web software, IoT Products and a mobile app built for our trucking partners.

What you'll do:

• Develop a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap for trucking at Flexport
• Learn directly from users to deeply understand their problems and drive the development of innovative solutions
• Write clear, detailed specs and aggressively unblock your team to enable them to execute
• Be a strong voice for your team, communicating feature releases and managing expectations with stakeholders across the company
• Become a domain expert, deeply understanding the market and competitive landscape to solve real problems with technology
• Get your hands dirty with data, developing meaningful business objectives and metrics to measure your team’s progress

What you'll need:

• 4+ years experience as a Product Manager, preferably within a startup environment
• Crystal clear communication skills and can make sure everybody is on the same page
• Strong business acumen to learn the industry, find product market fit and drive results
• A passion for design and building simple, usable products
• Technical competence. Might not be an expert, but has experience writing code
