Groupon is looking for a data-driven product leader to drive product strategy for search and navigation CX on groupon.com. You will launch bold new A/B tests on mobile web and web that drives revenue lift and increased purchase frequency from high intent visitors.

 

At Groupon, our Product Managers work with designers, developers and senior management to build features and experiences that enhance the customer experience. This role is both technical and business facing. The ideal candidate should be analytical, creative and comfortable leading meetings with senior leadership. This position is based in our Chicago headquarters, but involves some travel to other offices.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define the product strategy and create a rolling 4-quarter product roadmap for top of the funnel, high-intent groupon.com visitors.

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, analytics, and cross functional product managers to build meaningful features that make finding what you want on Groupon easy and delightful for Groupon customers.

  • Create functional specifications and manage product development process.

  • Continuously launch features, learn from data, and then quickly iterate to launch new features that ultimately drive revenue lift via successful A/B tests.

  • Triage and fix bugs in a timely manner to safeguard the customer experience.

  • Mentor and help develop junior product managers.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, etc.

  • 5+ years experience working as a product manager at a technology company.

  • Deep analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and a track record of applying these to inform effective and successful business decisions driving a customer-centered product strategy

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing multiple cross-functional projects in parallel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Obsession with understanding and meeting the needs of the customer.

  • Familiarity with SQL, HTML, CSS, and command line.

  • Previous marketplace or e-commerce experience is a plus.
