Senior Product Manager
The Role
As a Fusion Senior Product Manager, you will work in conjunction with our Product Directors, solution leaders, functional teams, and Fusion management team to gather requirements, prioritize investments, and drive our product roadmap to a successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Executive Leadership, clients, technology partners, and Fusion solution owners to drive the vision, strategy, and development of our solutions
- Work with Product Managers in other solution areas to identify what we can leverage, extend, and optimize existing or planned functionality for existing clients and new prospects across verticals
- Work with our subject matter experts to define the next business problem to solve and design solutions to solve it.
- Engage with customers, technology partners, and Fusion solution owners to prioritize the right features.
- Define product vision and strategy, user/buyer personas and use cases for platform building blocks.
- Represent Fusion Risk Management as a product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites and social media.
- Gather, prioritize and define requirements (while actively grooming backlog) into executable epics and user stories for engineering with 3-4 release horizon
- Create product/feature plans for each release, including acceptance criteria, use cases, success metrics, etc.
- Collaborate with Customers, Researchers, and Designers on developing and testing innovative product ideas
- Engage stakeholders on necessary inputs for product strategy & roadmap, get buy-in, manage communications, expectations and dependencies
- Create base documentation (content and features and delta docs) and work with Product Marketing to enable Services and Sales teams
- Collaborate with engineering team on release management, understanding status, risks, and dependencies to project completion
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in building enterprise SaaS products & product management (5+ years experience)
- Strategic mindset: able to drive product strategy that achieves strong customer value and business outcomes; able to make trade-off decisions considering what's desirable, viable and technically feasible
- Technically savvy and experienced working with developers and designers
- Strong prioritization skills and the discipline to focus on high impact activities.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering, defining and effectively capturing product requirements and transforming them into an actionable product roadmap
- Customer focus: has deep curiosity about customer needs, as well as a track record in building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
- Insight development: empathetic around customer problems, able to distill insights into the right product answer and create insightful narrative from customer feedback
- Understanding of contemporary software delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
