Do you already work on SaaS or PaaS products? Come try LaaP! (Lending as a Platform). Our Product and Technology teams solve incredibly hard problems daily and help shape an amazing experience for our LaaP partners.

In your role as a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for research, development, and implementation of new products and features for our partner-facing B2B software. You’ll work closely with Amount’s leadership team, Business Development, Customer Success, Design, Engineering and our external Partners (aka clients) to create project plans for new product features. You will keep all stakeholders in-the-know while the product/feature is being built. In addition, you will collaborate to figure out the feasibility of new lines of business and pitch how our product and new features could work for current and new potential Partners. Once your product is ready for launch, you’ll work with our team’s analysts to oversee all their work creating the training materials and documentation needed to ensure a successful external rollout for Partners and internal rollout for our dev teams that will need to maintain this going forward.

What you will do at Amount:

  • Research, Development and Implementation:
  • Meet with potential Partners to figure out if one of our existing products would address their pain points (or if we need to build them a new one)
  • Conduct user research sessions and analyze user data to make data-driven decisions
  • Champion and pitch the ideas that you think are scalable new product features that will drive efficiencies across multiple Partners and multiple lines of business to Amount Leadership
  • Confidently make Go / No Go / Maybe Later recommendations or Buy/Build/Partner decisions
  • Meet regularly with Business Development and our Partners to iron out the requirements then work with Design to perfect the UI / UX for new features
  • Write technical specs and work with your technical stakeholders to get your project prioritized
  • Create a product release plan (timing, training, etc) and keep both technical and non-technical stakeholders informed
  • Document what you built so that future Amount employees and new partners can hit the ground running
  • Help Business Development create sales materials highlighting our product offering

Why you are a fit for Amount:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.
  • Highly analytical and organized, detail-oriented, knack for problem-solving, and strong project management skills
  • 2-5 years in product management, banking industry, consulting, or other analytical role
  • SQL and Excel knowledge required, Looker or Tableau knowledge a plus
  • Familiarity with Jira, Github, JitBit and other Agile software management tools
  • Familiarity with Typescript, Javascript, Python and/or Ruby a plus. (You don’t need to write it, but being able to read code and understand what it’s doing is a huge plus)
  • Self-confidence, good judgment and the ability to make sound decisions
  • An inquisitive mindset and an openness to do things differently and more efficiently
