What is a Senior Technical Product Manager - Insurance Platform?

Our Insurance Platform, backed by our custom Policy Administration System,  is at the heart of everything we do at Clearcover.  Clearcover’s ability to innovate is directly tied to the health and growth of our Insurance Platform.  We believe the best technical platforms are ones that start with the customer.  As a Technical Product Manager you need to deeply understand our customer and their future needs and use that to build roadmaps for technical improvements to our Insurance Platform.  You also have to have great PM skills to then work with our platform engineering teams to execute those roadmaps.  

You need to have demonstrated experience of leading complex API driven products at scale.  As a PM on a platform team, stakeholder management is crucial as your platform will power experiences across multiple different product lines and channels.  You will work with our initiative leaders and other product managers to help build amazing products and fantastic requirements inside of our Scrum environment.  

You need to be able to think strategically one moment, and then dive deep to write super technical User Stories the next.  We are looking for leaders who can combine a deep technical background with creative and bold vision to help to continue to build a best in class Insurance Platform.

Must haves

• Endless curiosity
• A Superpower in context switching
• 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager on an API centric product in a Scrum or other similar Agile environment
• An engineering background or other related technical experience
