Description:
BenchPrep is looking for an ambitious, curious, and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to join our Product team. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the collection, generation, documentation, and justification of business requirements from various internal and external technical projects.
You will work very closely with Product Management as well as Customer Success, Design, and the Executive Strategy team to discuss projects/business objectives and then translate/organize them into user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria.

Understanding the underlying motivations, use cases, and justifications for projects is critical to their success at BenchPrep, as well as a deep understanding of software development processes and workflow.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Management for prioritization and maintenance of the Product Roadmap and Product Backlog
Participate and contribute in internal and external ideation sessions regarding technical projects, new features, and enhancements
Document business requirements in various forms (primarily User Stories and testable Acceptance Criteria)
Answer questions and provide guidance/context to Developers and QA regarding work in progress
Chase down project information from various stakeholders and remove blockers
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements documentation, and user story writing for a software project at a SaaS company
1+ years of software development experience
Solid knowledge of software development structures and Agile methodology
Product Management or Project Management experience a plus
