VP, Technical Product Manager, Retirement and Workplace Solutions

The Role: Morningstar Investment Management seeks a Senior Product Manager to work on our Fiduciary Services and Morningstar Plan Advantage (MPA) offerings. Fiduciary Services and MPA help retirement advisors and plan sponsor to leverage Morningstar to select and monitor a retirement plan line up for the plan participants. This role will handle the technical aspects of these products for our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our Fiduciary Solutions including Morningstar Plan Advantage and traditional fiduciary services.
- Prioritize Product Initiatives (new product development) based on analysis of the opportunity and competitive landscape.
- Owns the creation and execution of the roadmap for our Fiduciary Services/Morningstar Plan Advantage (MPA) products.
- Defines, tracks, and reports on Objective and Key Results (OKRs) of Fiduciary Services and MPA.
- Works with Product Managers to define high-level requirements and assigns features to Product Managers for development.
- Manages a team of Product Managers, which includes mentoring and coaching.
- Works closely with the Commercial Product Manager to support new sales opportunities and adoption of our existing solutions.
- Engage with the retirement industry and our clients to proactively research and recommend enhancements and improvements of our offerings.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Extremely proficient in all product management skills and agile processes. Advocates for the use and adoption of these skills.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant and progressive experience with investment products and fiduciary solutions.
- Experience working with Sales, Customer Support, Institutional Clients, Marketing, and an understanding of retirement investment fiduciary roles.
- Knowledge of Morningstar products and the retirement industry is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication, planning, and analytical skills.
- Self-directed and detail-oriented.
- Client service experience.
