What’s an Agile Program Manager? 
We are looking for a Program Manager to help us orchestrate the development of experiences for our customers and agents across multiple teams. Buying insurance shouldn’t be hard, and understanding your policy and feel that you’re making an informed choice on your coverages shouldn’t need multiple phone calls over a period of weeks. We need you to help make both of these ambitions a reality for our customers.

We need someone who has experience orchestrating the efforts of multiple teams across an enterprise. You should be innately focused on the details, issues, risks, and dependencies. You need to have demonstrated ability and experience in building products at scale that produce meaningful impacts.

Our Program Managers will work with Product leaders, Architects, Designers, and Engineers to define and build a unified roadmap for the program.

We also require all of our Product Leaders to be deeply technical. This also means you may need to help identify gaps in the program where we are deficient in our plans regarding APIs, relational data models, and SQL. 

Our environment is fast-moving and we need program managers that understand not only Agile but have a clear sense of how to work at scale across multiple teams. You will need to understand how both team-specific and cross-team dependencies could affect an overall timeline. Additionally, we are looking for skills and experiences with defining and mitigating issues and risks.

What will you do?

• Develop a program roadmap consolidating the efforts and activities of multiple teams
• Define the projected target timelines for program milestones.
• Collect the updates on key activities driving progress, and risks, issues and defects impeding progress. 
• Identifying, Consolidating and Mitigating risks across the program. 
• Constantly analyze the effectiveness of your program and its processes and strive to always make it better
• Orchestrate program level activities influencing Grooming, Sprint Planning, and architectural discussions with the Engineering team
• Drive teams to optimize efforts and hit milestone targets with consistency

What do you need?

• Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years as a Program manager who managed programs in an Agile environment
• 3+ years experience as a scrum master where CSM or equivalent certifications are a plus
• 3+ years managing projects, and a PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
• Natural curiosity and a passion for providing the best user experience possible
• Previous insurance experience is not needed, but is a plus.
• High levels of energy, integrity, and curiosity
• A bias for action and willingness to be accountable for your actions
• A sense of humor is also a must. We’re getting funnier but we can still be funnier-er.
