What will your day look like?
You will lead small to medium sized project teams in the delivery of company directed initiatives. The primary focus of this role is to assist in the management, planning, monitoring and reporting on key projects from conception through implementation. The role is responsible for managing project details, status, reporting and communication to successfully drive project efforts. In addition to project management tasks, the Associate Project Manager also assists in managing the technical intake process and ensuring all new project requests are processed and reported on in a timely manner.
Direction is received from the Sr. Manager Project Management Office.
Responsibilities

- Assists in managing the overall planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of one or more small to medium sized initiatives simultaneously.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of all assigned projects and gains consensus from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Coordinates new technical request intake process and facilitates decisions with all stakeholders to route through the demand management process. This includes reporting on process status to senior level leaders and stakeholders.
- Develops project timelines and ensures the team is tracking towards the right milestones.
- Provides administrative support, including status reports, meeting scheduling, budget tracking, etc.
- Collaborates or escalates as required to address business or technical issues related to the project.
- Tracks project related costs and works with Sr. Manager, PMO on budgeting and performance reports.
Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies. Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives.
Qualifications

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or related field preferred, and you have:
- 1-3 years demonstrated project management experience
- Strong understanding of Project Management processes and practices
- Knowledge or certification in Scrum or agile software development
- PMP Certification preferred
- SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner (a plus)
- Proficient in MS Project, Visio, and Office Suite
- Effective time and project management skills
- Proven ability to execute on project deliverables
- Technical aptitude and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
- Effective public speaking and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
