Highly visible and strategic in nature, Project Management is a new function at RXBAR, and the Associate Project Manager will play a key role in helping to define how this function contributes to company growth both domestically and internationally. This individual will be responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of newly defined processes across the business. This role will be accountable for the end-to-end execution of projects from concept to delivery. Projects will vary in scope and will touch all aspects of the organization, specific project examples include but not are limited to commercialization of innovation product launches, packaging refreshes, display & merchandising initiatives, as well as implementation of process, systems & software. This role will be part of the Supply Chain team, however will interact cross-functionally with all departments within RXBAR.

This person must be proactive, organized, adept at building strong relationships, have great communication, prioritization and time management skills, and possess strong critical thinking and problem resolution skills.

General Functions & Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of RXBAR’s companywide process and project management discipline
  • Build rapport with cross functional partners to work collaboratively, and coordinate resources (internal and third party) in the execution of cross-functional initiatives including Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Sales and Research & Development
  • Utilizes strong facilitation skills to efficiently and effectively drive results beyond project execution. Direct ownership of project kick-off meetings, regular project status meetings, closeout / lessons learned discussions, as well as development of critical content for leadership
  • Proven ability to effectively convey ideas & solutions with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage project scope to deliver on time and on budget; manage through resource and risk assessment in conjunction with development of timelines to drive accountability for functional stakeholders
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to help with organization growth, develop the change management approach and implementation plan
  • Manage project performance using key reporting metrics, escalate constraints and delays to management as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude, a thirst for knowledge, and an excitement for growing our business
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required
  • 3-5 years’ project manager experience
  • Experience in managing and leading diverse, cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and manage in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong analytical, business process and problem-solving capabilities
  • Technical proficiency in project management application; PMI or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Understanding of food manufacturing and consumer packaged goods (CPG) is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Quick learner that can internalize and manage new processes
  • Excellent presentation skills
