VP -Automotive Consulting Leader

Position Profile

 

The Automotive Consulting Leader is a newly created position based on our overall success and growth in the Automotive Industry. This individual will report to our SVP-GM of Automotive Services. The initial objective for this role is building a consulting capability for Automotive customers in the areas of business/operations optimization, CCC One product optimization, and industry analysis (e.g., competitive benchmarking) that can generate new revenue in response to customer requests.

 

This individual will be responsible for determining the go-to-market approach and then supporting the existing Automotive sales teams as they take the new consulting service offerings to market. This position requires a well-rounded consultative professional that will be able to partner cross-functionally with multiple internal teams and consult at the C level with our Automotive customers.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate the development of the Automotive Services Consulting Practice Business plan.
  • Lead a new organization of 8 -11 professional resources who will move into this new function.
  • Act as a consultant to the Automotive Shops emerging digitization and monetization departments, devising new strategies that benefit both CCC and its customers.
  • Oversee program management for new customer engagements.
  • Reports out to senior CCC management the operational metrics of the Consulting Services business, including sales operations, business planning and budgeting in a highly measured fashion.

 

The ideal candidate will have had exposure to the automotive industry, either through interactions with Automotive Shops or the Industry in general. A strategy consulting background is required given the nature of the consulting engagements with our Auto customers. He or she should be experienced in devising and delivering on strategies and positioning with our customers in such a way to generate interest in CCC’s offerings.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-15 years of total experience primarily in management consulting. Some domain experience in the Automotive industry is  desired.
  • Experience identifying new ways for CCC to work with our customers as well and building out new capabilities to deliver against those
  • Previous Financial Modeling & Business Case Development experience is required
  • Strong Collaboration skills as this person will be working with multiple divisions of CCC
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • MBA degree is preferred but not required
