Job Description
We are currently looking for a Technology Project Manager to join our fast-growing team of Trust, Safety, and Compliance for CIB Wholesale Payments Technology. The ideal candidate will provide ownership in the areas of architectural governance and project delivery management for technology-centric initiatives across the organization. This individual will be viewed as a subject matter expert, an influencer, a motivator, and a driver of change who is responsible for the frictionless delivery of these end-to-end technology projects. Typical key outcomes of these projects would be to reduce EOL componentry, maintain resiliency, and move applications to target state infrastructure.
This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to become a part of an innovative team , leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies to build and manage world-class cloud-based applications that help fight payment fraud and interrupt sanctions transactions.
Governance

  • Maintain accuracy of reporting data: Program Roadmap, Jira, & Wholesale Payments Technology Dashboard
  • Establish and maintain Agile/Kanban board to drive frictionless project delivery
  • Project Execution management with AD, Infrastructure, DBA, Engineering teams (as applicable), & product teams - daily/weekly stand-ups as appropriate
    • Set clear expectations as to what is expected from each team and participant in delivering the project(s)
    • Interlock across teams to align project resource commitments
    • Review delivery progress
    • Review Agile/Kanban boards with teams, influence ticket prioritization , and address blocked items
  • Develop and maintain Application roadmaps to achieve modernization objectives. Define outcomes and cost/effort to achieve
  • Work with architecture to define the infrastructure designs for new/updated Product/Service offerings i.e.: ICP, Cloud, CBB2, GAP, GKP etc


Delivery

  • Remove EOL componentry from the estate
  • Achieve get-to-moderate compliance for all In-scope applications
  • Maximize execution efficiency and use of resources to deliver modernization outcomes
  • Frictionless execution of the workstream project portfolio
  • Actively manage the infrastructure and modernization budget
  • Complete a detailed review of each project; Technical requirements and scope, architecture design & requirements, migration plan, x-impacted teams, work effort


Communication

  • Work with the program manger to engage all stakeholders and promote program successes
  • Provide weekly program update and bi-weekly status update for the workstream
  • Raise friction points to escalate issues that are impacting data center migration or modernization


Opportunity

  • Develop and document repeatable processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve program/project reporting efficiencies
  • Work with architecture team to leverage product evolution and automated delivery of Infrastructure


Qualifications
At least 5-10 years of Project Management experience is required
Project Management :

  1. Experience scoping, organizing and delivering complex multi-faceted projects and programs
  2. Hands on experience driving large scale projects through a structured change management process
  3. Matrix management of Technical resources including developers, QA, & engineering to deliver projects
  4. Exposure to modern infrastructure services such as cloud, virtualization, big data, etc
  5. Experience in working in an Agile development environment
  6. Organized, thorough, & detail orientated


Planning skills :

  1. Project Task Estimation
  2. Resource Scheduling
  3. Risk & Issue Management
  4. Adherence to Standard Project Lifecycle
  5. Budget / Financial Management including Business Case completion
  6. Evaluation of impact to Total Cost of Ownership for multiple simultaneous, complex projects
  7. Impact analysis to changes in scope, budget or resource


Other skills :
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in Agile transformation programs useful
Experience in Corporate Banking technology and/or payments processing is an added advantage
PMP and/or CSM certification preferred
