Client Reference Program Manager
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented program manager to develop and manage a dynamic and successful client reference program. Our ideal candidate will be an amazing relationship builder who can cultivate eager public advocates and collaborate cross-functionally to drive nominations, participation and new opportunities. You’ll also need a keen eye for great stories that support strategy; analytical skills to make data-driven program decisions; and organizational prowess to create process and efficiencies. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Ops & Tech.
What you'll do:
• Establish, maintain and grow an effective client reference and advocacy program that helps drive sales, increase win rates and strengthen the Paylocity brand in the market
• Build, manage and foster community of client advocates with a variety of participation opportunities to address regional, industry, product and segment sales and marketing needs.
• Liaise with key members of sales, service, marketing, channels, and external groups to achieve program adoption, drive reference recruitment, content development and event/advocacy opportunities.
• Drive strategy and deliverables to create innovative value-add opportunities for our client advocate community.
• Drive relevant and effective success stories, proof points and testimonials across industries, offerings and segments for use in sales cycles, marketing and press/analyst engagements.
• Ownership of customer review platforms such as G2 Crowd, Trustradius, etc.
• Establish processes and infrastructure, develop project plans, and collaborate effectively across stakeholders to support and optimize client reference program.
• Source and/or implement reference program technology to optimize and automate the program.
• Maintain database of client advocates, monitor contact saturation, preferences and client satisfaction within the program.
• Develop and report on KPIs to measure program effectiveness
What you bring:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years Marketing experience, 2+ years relevant Client Reference Program, Customer Marketing or similar experience
• Demonstrated expertise in process and project management with successful record of scaling and enhancing programs
• Ability to proactively, independently identify compelling customer stories and client advocacy opportunities to contribute to business goals
• Customer facing relationship skills; experience collaborating with creative services to enhance story-telling and messaging
• Experience with Reference Edge or similar with Salesforce integration a plus
• Experience in B2B Tech industry a plus
• Self-driven, adaptable, comfortable with change and tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, cross-functional collaboration and influence
• Experience identifying and resolving complex issues and taking initiative
