Job Description  

PhysIQ is looking for a Clinical Project Manager to join the Clinical team. This full-time permanent opportunity reports directly to the Director, Clinical Development with the primary aim to manage multiple studies and projects, perform collection of clinical data points and to provide seamless customer service to the project site. This position requires a talented, detail- oriented professional who will support the advancement and achievement of our clinical projects and studies with customers. The Clinical Project Manager will serve as a critical player by ensuring daily monitoring and administrative management of customers actively using the PhysIQ system. The position resides in Clinical Development and will interface with customers on a routine basis.  

Primary work focus will be initiate and manage research studies and non-research deployment of the physIQ platform in healthcare delivery systems. This includes but is not limited to resource and timeline organization, regulatory and contract coordination, stakeholder management, funder communication. This may include collaboration in ground up development of research studies as well as collaboration on customer facing education and training materials. This role will require strong project management, and oral and written communication skills.  

Additionally, the Clinical Project Manager will provide feedback and insights on product deficiencies and needed enhancements based on end-user experiences to support our product road-map.

This role requires relationship building with customers and clinical sites to ensure alignment on project goals, gain feedback and insights, and increase overall satisfaction with PhysIQ. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys the challenges of working with diverse customers and complex clinical projects. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain a project management plan for assigned projects or studies
  • Lead project management meetings including creating an agenda and meeting minutes
  • Support efforts in research studies and projects, including assistance in development of Protocols, IRB submissions, data collection, and clinical goals. 
  • Collaborate on written project reports as well as collaborate on peer-reviewed publications
  • Maintain timely communication with customers engaged in projects or studies to ensure high customer satisfaction. Document and keep project team members up-to-date on relevant learnings, outcomes.
  • Track, document and share learnings and feedback from the use of the product, value of data, overall platform benefit. 
  • Manages and track multiple study budgets with a good understanding of study financials.
  • Practice professionalism and integrity in all actions: demonstrated commitment to teamwork, cooperation, self-control, and flexibility in all areas of work.
  • Communicates and exhibits leadership behavior consistent with the physIQ culture.
  • Conduct work consistent with physIQ’s quality standards.

 

Required Skills 

  • Enthusiasm for new science and exploration
  • Creative, autonomous problem solving ability
  • Bachelor’s life science degree, or relevant industry-field experience 
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience in clinical/NIH research or pharmaceutical environment  
  • High level of attention to detail 
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. 
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to present a project independently to a group of stakeholders
  • Strong data management skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to comprehend complex documents (e.g., clinical protocols, research reports). 
  • Experience managing and/or working closely with customers 
  • Willingness to learn interpretation of EKGs
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex subjects
  • Experience working in healthcare and with compliance and regulatory environments preferred
  • Trained in Good Clinical Practice and Human Research Subject Protection
